The Sunday.

In most World’s cultures, Sunday marks the end of the week with Monday looming on the door step, waiting for you to start your unavoidable week cycle again. The course of alternatives is wide, but most commonly when you were at your school age, Sunday evenings filled your body with a slight uneasiness and maybe worry – worry that you haven’t finished your homework or you are not prepared for your test in the morning. There is probably not much you can do about that rather than keep yourself more accountable and try to find an alternative time for studying, but again, it’s not easy while there are more fun things to do at that age, so it was down to your parents to explain why there is such a big fuss about the whole school thing.

Forward to the present day and we still have the same feeling as if nothing has changed, even if you have a job now, maybe you are a parent, but still that Sunday afternoon worrying feeling never leaves us regarding how old we get… The questions you should ask yourself is why do you have this feeling, what is causing it? I would say in more than 90 percent cases it is your JOB. Don’t get me wrong – there are plenty of people who love what they do, but even those will have one of those days when everything seems to be grey and miserable because something went wrong at work. We all know why we need a job – it gives us a financial stability and ensures that we can live in the way we desire. But why should we feel unease when thinking about job? There probably are many explanations and answers, but think about it this way – when you was young, you had certain tasks and behaviour characteristics that was set and tolerated with rewards by your parents. Disobeying these traits would cost you limited freedom or restricted access towards your wishes being granted. Who plays parental role at your workplace? Your boss. Yes, we do need someone overlooking the whole procedure at work to make sure all are going smooth and as per plan. But do YOU need a boss? Do you need someone who is overlooking every detail and every mistake you make with the power to cut your financial supply? The solution is to become your own boss and to start something yourself. This might be the easiest and the hardest thing you will ever do. The biggest obstruction is our motivation to change. We tend too quickly forget about our worries once we become comfortable again and motivation for a change stars to diminish into complete nothingness only to come back once the uneasiness returns… How to stay motivated? Get to know this Sunday feeling, think about it and tell yourself to remember it, don’t try to forget or mask it or tell yourself that everything will be OK.

If you want a change you have to be motivated to change. To stay motivated you have to remember why you started this… Enjoy your Sunday 🙂
